At AW Skin, we use the Lynton EXCELIGHT® machine, this uses dynamic reflex technology for comfortable, safe, and effective hair removal treatment.
The light emitted by the device is absorbed by melanin within the hair, which is then converted into heat energy and damages the hair follicle, reducing hair growth.

The amount of sessions required varies from client to client and can depend on numerous factors. Generally, anywhere between 6-12 treatments are recommended for best results.

The feel of the treatment can vary between individuals, but it has been described as similar to a 'hot flick' of an elastic band. Most clients find the treatment bearable and feel mild discomfort.

The Lynton EXCELIGHT® machine can be used to treat skin types 1-5 and dark blonde-black hair. Grey/white hair contains no melanin so is not recommended for treatment. ​
